Winter Time Ribbed Jacket

This pattern is for a chunky ribbed jacket with structured shoulders, pockets and buttons all the way up to the neckline. It also has pockets and flares out at the hips in an extremely flattering way. This listing is for a PDF digital download for this pattern, and the book this pattern is taken from is c. 1940s. This pattern is from the Sun-glo Series 66 knitting book, is number 2859 and called 'Winter Time'. 

This pattern measures a 32/34 inch bust, but includes measurements to make for a 36 inch bust using larger needles. 

Materials: 

- 10 skeins 'Wilga' or 'Sunbeam' blanket wool, or modern equivalent to achieve tension of 5 stitches x  rows, for 1 x 1 inches. 

- Knitting needles size UK 6/5mm

- Knitting needles size UK 11/3mm

- 6 Buttons
