Week End Bow Neck Sweater

This pattern is for a delightful sweater with a knitted bow at the neck and structured shoulders. The sweater has ribbed cuffs and hem, as well as gorgeous diamond detailing on the side body and sleeves. This is a piece which would mesh so well with a 'true vintage' wardrobe as well as modern pieces. This listing is for a PDF digital download, and the book this pattern is taken from is c. 1940s. This sweater comes from the Sun-glo series 66 knitting book, and is number 2739, called 'Week End'. 

This sweater measures a size 32/34 inch bust, with instructions for increasing to a 36 inch bust with bigger needles. 

Materials:

- 6-8 skeins Sun-Glo 'Shrinkproof' or 'Sunbeam' 3 ply fingering weight yarn, or modern equivalent to achieve tension of 7 stitches x 9 rows for 1 x 1 inches. 

- Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm

- Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm
