Twosome Cardigan and Sweater Twin-Set

This is a vintage knitting pattern for a twin set cardigan and sweater, with a fine textured pattern. The pattern is taken from the Sun-Glo knitting book no. 102, which included women’s sweater patterns from the 1940s. 

This pattern is made to fit a 32-34 inch bust, with instructions to size up to a 36 inch bust.

Materials required for jumper:

• 6 skeins Sun-Glo shrinkproof 3-ply fingering wool. This can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a tension of 15 stitches x 18 rows, to 2 x 2 inches of knitting. 

• Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm.

• Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm.

• Press studs. 

• 1 crochet hook.

• 8 skeins Sun-Glo shrinkproof 3-ply fingering wool. This can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a tension of 15 stitches x 18 rows, to 2 x 2 inches of knitting. 

• Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm.

• Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm.

• 6 buttons.
