Tie Neck and Sleeves Sweater

This is a pattern for an absolutely gorgeous little sweater with ties at the neck and sleeves. There is ribbing on the bottom half of the body, and the rest would be so relaxing to knit. This is on my personal queue! The pattern is taken from the Woolworths Economy Knitting Book no. 23. This book is from the 1940s and features women’s and men’s clothing items, including sweaters, cardigans and dresses. 

The size is for a 32-34 inch bust. 

Materials required:

• 7-9 skeins Woolworth’s Super 3-ply fingering wool. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 7 stitches x 9 rows for 1 x 1”. 
• Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm.
• Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm.  
• Crochet hook.  
• Press studs
