Sleeveless Sweater

This is a vintage knitting pattern for a beautiful sleeveless sweater, made for transitional weather with ribbing and a lovely pointed collar. The pattern is taken from Stitchcraft booklet no. 213, which has a variety of women’s and men’s patterns, as well as homewares. 

This pattern comes in three sizes, and is made to fit a 31-32, 33-34 and 35-36 inch chest. 

Materials required:

• 4-5 ozs Patons 2-ply wool. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a tension of 8.5 stitches x 10.5 rows for 1 x 1 inch of knitting.  

• Knitting needles size UK 11/3mm.

• Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm.

• Three small buttons. 

• Crochet hook.
