Rival Jacket

This is very 1940s jacket with shoulder pads, a ribbed waist, and just two buttons securing the middle. The listing is for a digital download of a vintage knitting pattern, taken from the Patons & Baldwins Knitting Book No. 210. This book is from the early 1940s and featured various women’s clothing items, mostly sweaters and jackets. 

The size is for a 35-36 inch bust. 

Materials required:

• 12 ozs Patons Azalea. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 2 patterns to 1.5 inches in width. 
• Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm.
• Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm.  
• One pair of shoulder pads. 
• 4 buttons.
