Pageant Lacy Jumper

This is a vintage knitting pattern for Pageant, gorgeous little lace sweater with a small collar and three buttons to fasten. This pattern would knit up quickly due to being on larger needles, which gives the lace pattern a lovely loose texture. The pattern is taken from the Patons & Baldwins Style Knitting Book. This book is from the late 1930s and features sweaters and jumpers for women. 

There are two sizes, for a 32 and 36 inch bust.

Materials required:

• 7-8 ozs Patons ‘Lacette’ yarn. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 8 stitches to the inch in width.
• Knitting needles size UK 8/4mm.
• Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm.
• 3 buttons.
