Musquash Leaf Fair Isle Sweater

This is a vintage knitting pattern for Musquash, a beautiful fair isle sweater in angora wool with a colourwork leaf motif. The pattern is taken from the Patons & Baldwins Knitting Book, no. 280. This book is from the 1950s and features patterns using fuzzy or angora yarns. 

The size is for a 38-39 inch bust.

Materials required:

• 3 skeins Patons Fuzzy Wuzzy Angora and 6-7 ozs Patons Beehive Fingering wool. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 7.5 stitches to the inch in width.
• Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm.
• Knitting needles size UK 13/2.25mm.  
• 6 buttons.
