Meredith Dressing Jacket

This is a lovely little bed jacket with a collar, button down front and ribbon waist. The listing is for a digital download of a vintage knitting pattern, taken from the Patons & Baldwins Specialty Knitting Book No. 133. This book is from the early 1940s and featured various women’s sleepwear patterns. 

The size is for 36 inch bust. 

Materials required:

• 9oz Beehive Lady Betty. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 4.5 stitches to the inch in width. 
• Knitting needles size UK 7/4.5mm.
• Length of ribbon.
• 7 buttons.
