Light and Lacy Blouse

This is a vintage knitting pattern for a short sleeved lace cardigan-style blouse in a lightweight crochet cotton. The pattern is taken from a leaflet by Woman Magazine, which included women’s, men's and children's patterns, and was published in 1959. 

This pattern is made to fit up to a 36 inch bust.

Materials required for jumper:

• 8 oz Lyscordet (a size 5 crochet cotton). This can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a tension of 8 stitches to 1 inch of knitting. 

• Knitting needles size UK 13/2.25mm.

• Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm.

• 12 small buttons.
