Lakeside Puff Sleeve Sweater

This is a vintage knitting pattern a lovely sweater with horizontal colourblocking and a stripe across the yoke, buttons down the front of the bodice, and puffed sleeves. The pattern is taken from Sun Glo series 47. This book is from the 1940s and featured women’s garments, mostly sweaters and tops. 

This pattern is made to fit a 32-34 inch bust, with instructions for a 36 inch bust.

Materials required:

• 5-7 skeins Sun-Glo Shrinkproof 4-ply fingering weight wool. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 13 stitches x 17 rows across 2 x 2 inches. 
• Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm.
• Knitting needles size UK 12/2/75mm. 
• 3 small buttons.
