This is a vintage knitting pattern for a gorgeous sweet little jumper with vertical eyelets on the bodice and a lace insertion across the yoke with frills. The pattern is taken from the Lincoln Knitting Book No. 675 ‘Styles for Out of Doors’. This book is from the 1940s and featured a variety of women’s knitting patterns which were practical for cooler weather wear.
This pattern is to fit a 32-34 inch bust.
Materials required:
- 7 skeins of Lincoln ‘Daphne’ crochet wool. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 8 stitches to the inch in width and 10 rows to an inch in length.
- Knitting needles size UK 11/3 mm.
- Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm.
- 4 buttons.
