Karacul Fuzzy Striped Sweater

This is a vintage knitting pattern for Karcul, a delightful little sweater with stripes in angora wool. The pattern is taken from the Patons & Baldwins Knitting Book, no. 280. This book is from the 1950s and features patterns using fuzzy or angora yarns. 

There are two sizes, for a 33-34, or 36-37 inch bust.

Materials required:

• 6-9 ozs Patons 4-ply and 2 balls Patons Fuzzy Wuzzy Angora. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 7.5 stitches to the inch in width.
• Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm.
• Knitting needles size UK 13/2.25mm.  
• 4 small buttons. 
• Two stitch holders.
