Joylene Bolero

This is a vintage knitting pattern for bolero with enough length to belt at the waist. The pattern is taken from the Patons & Baldwins Knitting Book No. 323. This book is from the early 1950s and featured women’s jumper and cardigan patterns with accentuated waists typical of the ‘New Look’ fashion trend at the time. 

This pattern has two sizes, to fit a 34-35 or 36-37 inch bust.

Materials required:

• 8-9 ozs of Patons Azalea crochet wool. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 8 stitches to the inch.
• Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm.
