Gaiety Collared Sweater

This is a delightful little short sleeved sweater with ribbing on the hems of the body and sleeves, vertical lace zig-zags and the sweetest little turned-down collar. The listing is for a digital download of a vintage knitting pattern, taken from the Patons & Baldwins Knitting Book No. 210. This book is from the early 1940s and featured various women’s clothing items, mostly sweaters and jackets. 

The size is for a 35-36 inch bust. 

Materials required:

• 7 ozs Patons Beehive Fingering. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 1 pattern to 1.25 inches in width. 
• Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm.
• Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm.  
• One pair of shoulder pads
