Frivolity Zig Zag Lace Sweater

This is a wonderful little short sleeved sweater with a zig zag lace pattern all over, ribbing at the body and sleeve hems, and a roll neck collar. The listing is for a digital download of a vintage knitting pattern, taken from the Patons & Baldwins Knitting Book No. 210. This book is from the early 1940s and featured various women’s clothing items, mostly sweaters and jackets. 

There are two sizes, for a 32 and 34 inch bust. 

Materials required:

• 6-7 ozs Patons Beehive Fingering 3-ply. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 8 stitches to the inch in width. 
• Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm.
• Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm.  
• One pair of shoulder pads
