Filigree Sweater

This is a vintage knitting pattern for a lovely little lace jumper in the traditional ‘bluebell’ flower pattern. The pattern is taken from Sun Glo series 57. This book is from the 1940s and featured women’s garments, mostly sweaters and tops. 

This pattern is made to fit a 32-34 inch bust.

Materials required:

• 5 skeins Sun-Glo Shrinkproof 2-ply fingering weight wool. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 15 stitches x 19 rows for 2 x 2 inches.
• Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm.
• Knitting needles size UK 14/2mm.
