Festival Lace Sweater

This is a vintage knitting pattern for Fesitival, a lovely little lace sweater with puff sleeves. The pattern is taken from the Patons & Baldwins Style Knitting Book. This book is from the late 1930s and features sweaters and jumpers for women. 

This is for a 36 inch bust.

Materials required:

• 5 ozs Patons ‘Nimbla’. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 8 stitches to the inch in width.
• Knitting needles size UK 9/3.75mm.
• Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm.
• 2 buttons.
