Dress with Collar, Lace and Ribbing

This pattern is for an amazing knitted dress with waist ribbing for shaping, lovely overall lace pattern, and a Peter Pan collar. This book is taken from the Sun Glo series 59, and this pattern is number 2691. listing is for a PDF digital download for a women's vintage knitting pattern. The book this pattern is taken from appears to be c. 1940s, and the pattern is called 'Young in Heart', which is just perfect for the cute style of the dress. This is on my personal to-knit list! 

The size is for 32/34 inch bust, and 26 inch waist, but includes instructions to scale the pattern up to a bust 42/44 inch.

Materials required:
- 16-18 skeins 'Sun-Glo' Shrinkproof or 'Sunbeam' Super 3 ply fingering wool, which can be substituted with modern materials to achieve specified gauge of 13 stitches by 17 rows for2 x 2 inch swatch.
- Knitting needles size UK 9/3.75mm
- Knitting needles size UK 12/2.75mm
- Three small buttons
