Country Rambles Bubble Stitch Jacket

This pattern is for a wonderful jacket knitted in bubble stitch, which makes a lovely texture. The jacket has short sleeves, but is hip length with pockets and an open front, and I imagine this truly would be the perfect vintage garment to throw on for rambling in the country. This listing is for a PDF digital download, and is from the 1940s. The book this pattern is taken from is the Sun-Glo series 66 knitting book, and the pattern number is 2858, called 'Country Rambles'. 

This jacket measures a bust size 32/34 inches, with instructions for a 36 inch bust by sizing up your needles. 

Materials required:

- 8-10 skeins Sun-glo 'Wilga' or 'Sunbeam' blanket wool, or modern equivalent to achieve tension of 4 stitches x 6 rows, for 1 x 1 inches. 

- Knitting needles size UK 6/5mm

- Crochet hook
