Camp Followers

This is a vintage knitting pattern for long sleeved sweater with lovely positive ease around the sleeves for a relaxed, sporty fit, and the option of a crew or polo neck. The pattern is taken from the Sun-Glo knitting book no. 102, which included women’s sweater patterns. 

This pattern is made to fit a 32-34 inch bust.

Materials required:

• 12 skeins Sun-Glo shrinkproof 4-ply fingering weight or crochet wool. This can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a tension of 13 stitches x 17 rows, to 2 x 2 inches of knitting. 

• Knitting needles size UK 10/3.25mm.

• DPN needles size UK 12/2.75mm.
