Materials required:

• 11 ozs Sun-Glo 'Shrinkproof' 4-ply fingering weight wool. This wool can be substituted with modern materials to achieve a gauge of 7 stitches x 8 rows, to 1 x 1 inch . 
• Knitting needles size UK 8/4mm
• Knitting needles size UK 11/3mm
• 4 small buttons
• 1 crochet hook
• 1 spare DPN
